Wash and drain the lentils. Add them to a slow cooker insert with 4 cups of water. Mix in the spinach onions ginger and garlic all the spices except garam masala which gets added later salt and tomatoes.
Cover and cook the lentil and spinach preparation in a slow cooker on a high setting for 4-5 hours or low setting for 8 hours. Add the lentils salt and 3 cups of water to a slow cooker. Cook on high for 4-6 hours.

Blend the tomato and rest of the ingredient under Dal until smooth. Add to the Instant pot. Cook at Manual 8 minutes in the Instant pot or Cook over medium heat for 6 to 8 minutes after the pressure has reached in a stove top pressure cooker.
Combine chopped onion garlic ginger curry powder cumin and oil in a large microwave-save bowl. Microwave the vegetables until tender alternatively you can cook the ingredients on the stovetop. In a slow cooker combine the cooked vegetables with red lentils and a bay leaf.
Add coconut milk and water. Rinse chana dal and soak for 30 minutes. Heat oil in a pressure cooker over medium Heat.
Add cumin seeds and cloves to it. Once the cumin seeds start. Add chana masala turmeric salt cayenne coriander and cumin to the tomato onion mixture in the slow cooker.
Add in drained soaked chickpeas and the chana dal split chickpeas. Pour in two cups of water into the blender container slosh it about to get all the saucy goodness and pour this into the slow cooker. Transfer cooked masala to slow cooker.
Add kasuri methi and 14 cup water if required Mix everything. Slow cook again for 2 hours. Add in chopped cilantro and mix.
Drain the water and add the soaked kidney beans and lentils to the slow cooker. Add 5 cups of water 4 tablespoon ghee 1 teaspoon cumin seeds 1 cup grated onion 2 teaspoon ginger garlic paste and salt to taste to the slow cooker and give everything a gentle mix. Close the lid and slow cook the dal on low heat for 8 hours.
